British-born Nigerian David Kunle Agunbiade, arpa, is a creative writer, essayist, doctoral candidate in Creative and Critical Writing, and entrepreneur. He holds a degree in Law and postgraduate degrees in International Human Rights Law and Creative Writing with Publishing from the University of Derby, UK. David is a doctoral candidate in Creative and Critical Writing at London’s University of Greenwich. His first work of fiction, The Trolley, was self-published as an e-book short story in 2020 and made available digitally through Amazon and Okada Books. He has since completed his debut novel, What Blood Owes, which is yet to be released, and is currently working on a short-story collection titled Heavy Feet. Passionate about nurturing the emerging African writers, DKA founded the DKA Creative Writers’ Network, which oversees the DKA Annual Short Story Writing Contest and the DKA Annual Poetry Prize—two annual literary initiatives dedicated to discovering and supporting emerging talent in Nigeria. To date, the competitions have awarded cash prizes totalling up to ₦1.5 million, with an ambitious long-term vision of growing the combined prize fund to ₦25 million. Through his official Facebook page, Fictionbydavid, he also runs a monthly giveaway in which winners of mini writing contests receive a selected bestselling novel. The initiative seeks to encourage reading among young and aspiring writers while fostering a stronger reading culture. Beyond his literary work, DKA is the MD/CEO of DKA Group Ltd, the parent company of several ventures, including Eemagin Publishers, a Lagos-based publishing outfit committed to publishing exceptional African writers, and Trinity David Media and Communications, among others. David is an Associate Registered Practitioner of Advertising in Nigeria. Based in Nottingham, United Kingdom, he divides his time between the UK and Nigeria, balancing doctoral research, creative writing, publishing, and initiatives focused on developing emerging African writers.

Adejumoke Adebayo is a content writer, ghostwriter, transcriber, professional book editor, and book writing consultant. She has written three books: an editorial guide, a book-writing template, and a Wordpreneur's toolkit. She is the Lead Consultant at AM Editorials and Consultants, where she and her team provide content writing, ghostwriting, transcribing, book editing and digital publishing services for clients. They are committed to staying up to date with relevant industry standards and best practices and working with every client to bring their vision to life in high-quality books. And, they have ghostwritten books for clients in Nigeria, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates. Adejumoke is also a public speaker, virtual trainer, and teen mentor. She speaks at teen and youth events and conferences and teaches young people how to navigate their youth effectively. Over the years, she has hosted and trained people on content writing, ghostwriting, and book editing. In November 2022, she had an amazing experience training 80 PwDs (Persons with Disabilities) on Digital marketing. She has been featured on Metro FM 97.7 to share about her love for writing and copyediting. Her copyediting and proofreading skills ensure every piece of content she works on and publishes is error-free, captivating, and sensible. Adejumoke is always looking for ways to improve her craft and stay on top of her writing and book editing game. So, whether she is working on a Statement of Purpose, a novel, a term paper, a children's storybook, or a master’s thesis, her goal is to create content that connects with the target audience and delivers value.

Olalekan Mikail is a graduate of English and Literary Studies and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in literature. He is a writer with a keen interest in literature, language, and the possibilities of the written word. An avid lover of books, Olalekan finds in reading both knowledge and a way to understand the world's complexities, while writing remains his chosen medium for engaging with ideas, people, and experiences. His academic interests span literary studies, leadership, ideology, history, and psychology, particularly how human behaviour, beliefs, power, and social structures shape individuals and societies. His intellectual curiosity extends beyond the classroom, as he continually explores diverse subjects and perspectives that deepen his understanding of literature and the human experience. Beyond his academic pursuits, Olalekan is actively involved in several creative fields, including scriptwriting and video editing. His interest in storytelling extends beyond conventional literary forms, inspiring him to explore the relationship between written narratives and visual storytelling. He is particularly interested in crafting compelling characters, developing narratives, and examining the psychological and historical dimensions that shape human actions and relationships. In recognition of his literary ability, Olalekan won the DKA Annual Short Story Writing Competition in 2024, an achievement that further affirmed his commitment to writing and creative expression. He continues to develop his voice as a writer while pursuing opportunities to contribute meaningfully to literature, storytelling, and the broader creative landscape.

Korede Badmus is a writer, editor, media professional, and community builder with a background in English and Literary Studies. Her experience spans journalism, communications, project management, and social impact. She has participated in several journalism and media development programs, including the CJID Next Gen/Campus Reporter Internship Program, CNN Academy, and the Africa Foundation for Young Media Professionals (AFYMP) Women in Journalism/Gender Reporting Program. Through these programs, she has developed experience in writing, reporting, storytelling, media production, and working within professional newsroom environments. Korede previously served as Editor-in-Chief of the English Writers Association at FUOYE and as a co-editor of the NASELS Southwest Magazine. Her writing has received recognition through awards including the DKA Annual Poetry Prize and the Manny Hernández Prize for Diabetes Awareness. She is passionate about exploring different forms of communication and creative expression, particularly through writing, editing, and storytelling. Her interests extend to young people's experiences and how media, literature, and storytelling can help people better understand themselves and the world around them. Curious about people and the stories they carry, Korede seeks thoughtful, creative ways to bring those stories to life.
